It is no secret that food costs continue to rise.
One way to combat this is by growing your vegetables in your backyard. Gardening provides fresh air and exercise and encourages healthy eating habits and an appreciation for fresh, nutritious food.
We were able to offer tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and herbs from our raised beds demonstration gardens to patrons at our Thursday Market and provide tips on how to grow vegetables and flowers in home gardens.

Due to the support of our volunteers, sponsors, and the community the 2024 Market was a great success
The GWCAA offered fresh produce from local farms on
a "pay what you can" basis to nearly 2,000 people during the 16-day Market. More than 25 vendors, musicians, and representatives from local organizations made this a great community event.
Thanks to everyone for your support!
